The aim of the Junior Neighbourhood Support programme is,

"TO PROMOTE 
A SENSE OF PRIDE, SAFETY AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT 
IN CHILDREN, THEIR SCHOOLS AND THEIR WIDER COMMUNITY"

This programme is supported by the New Zealand Police, New Zealand Fire Service and Civil Defence and acknowledges those children who are contributing to their community in a positive way. Some children who have been nominated for an award will be presented with a certificate and a sponsored prize at an assembly.    It is anticipated that a representative from one of the emergency services will be available to present this award and address the assembly.

For this programme to be a success we need the commitment and support of the students and their families, teaching staff and the wider community.
